We did Bed Bath Beyond and Honeyfund.  I got mostly items from BBB for my shower and then mostly cash and Honeyfund pledges at the wedding.

Just Macy’s and Crate and Barrel. I always buy off the C&B website for registries, and I know that our older relatives probably won’t even consider checking anywhere other than Macy’s. If I were to add a third, which I wouldn’t because we invited 220 people and I think 2 is plenty, I would pick specialty items at Williams-Sonoma or Sur le Table.

We registered at BBB and Traveler’s Joy for our honeymoon.  We don’t need a lot of things, so the BBB registry is fairly small.  We chose it because they are all over, they carried the items we wanted, and their return policy is great.

@MrsElle:  If you love the bedding, buy it!  We didn’t register for towels because I love the bamboo ones we have from CB2.  Just going to go buy them for myself instead of settling for ones we don’t like.

@redhead46:  EXACT same thing!!!!!! Well at least I am hoping. The shower is next month and the wedding shortly after. We don’t need too much so we kept it simple with BB&B and are hoping the Honeyfund thing works out. I just published our page yesterday!

We registered at Macy’s, Sur la Table, and Williams-Sonoma. I’d say 90% of physical gifts were from Macy’s, but we were blessed to get some of the most expensive items we registered for at Williams-Sonoma.

We’re registered at Bed Bath & Beyond for most of our stuff, and Crate & Barrel for some misc. kitchen/decor and (likely) will register for furniture there. We were going to have a registry at The Bay or Sears (Canadian companies similar to Macy’s), since American stores aren’t that widespread in Canada, but everything overlapped with BB&B (and was more expensive at The Bay), so we decided “eh, screw it, people can buy online”.

I registered at Target and JCPenney. I hardly ever hear anyone register at JCP but DH likes their bath towels so that’s what we went with. I loved being registered at Target tho. They seem to have everything! But sometimes their system gets messed up showing what items have been purchased.

We registered at Macy’s.  Purely because you get a percent of what your guests spent back in the form of a gift card.

Well, 51 days after the wedding & I’m still waiting for that darn gift card to appear….

BBB and Royal Caribbean for some honeymoon add-ons (not the actual honeymoon itself).  About 50% of my guest list is older and not internet savvy, so I had to go with a store nearby and liked BBB’s options better than Macy and Target.

My issue with Target, besides the return policy and registry issues, is that they turn their products around too quickly and after a month stuff on the registry is only available in limited quantity.  My cousin is getting married in September, did her registry in May, and already she needs to update b/c over half of her picks are no longer available.

We went with Bed Bath and Beyond for china, crystal, kitchen appliances, pots & pans and Pottery Barn for linens and everyday dinnerware.

Crate&Barrel, Macy’s, and Amazon. We’ve added items from other stores (BB&B and CB2) using Amazon’s universal registry- so far Crate is the most popular for gifts (The $4.95 shipping might have something to do with it.)
