I’m having a little bit of bridesmaid dress diffficulty. I am trying to go with mismatched dresses that they can DEFINITELY wear again, that won’t break the bank (one of them doesnt want to buy a dress at all). I am looking for dresses that fit a variety of body types, and that are in a range of pastel colors (aquas or pinks, preferably).
Below are some looks I’ve pinned on pinterest, if that helps any.
I’ve only got 4 girls, so some of the looks below won’t work. And I know that a long dress isn’t as re-wearable as a short dress, but I don’t want them to be too short for the body conscious! Aaaahhh!
Please recommend away! 🙂
Here is my dress:

Try Nordstroms or Macy’s or Dillards. Aqua and Pink should be easy to find right now so you should be able to find a large variety of dresses pretty easily. Then it’s just a matter of narrowing down things like length and fabric; it will be easier to match “mis-matched” dresses if the fabric type is the same (jersey or crepe or chiffon) than if they are different (satin vs lace vs jersey vs chiffon).

My BMs got theirs from JCPenny – so I would suggest the department store route. That way everyone can try them on, and you can see the fabric and colors first hand.

My girls got their dresses at Nordstrom and were very happy with them. I think one of them even got to return hers after the wedding.

We are doing mismatched dresses in pale pink! So far the girls have found dresses at mod cloth, macy’s, dress 911, and davids bridal!

@multinational: Try modcloth.com They have some super pretty dresses that would definately be re-wearable, and some decent prices. Some of the prices are higher, but there are plenty of budget friendly dresses to choose from. Also, if you join, and invite one Bridesmaid or Best Man to join, she invites the next to join, etc. you will each get a $10 off certificate towards your purchase. That’s what we did, and it worked out perfectly. My Bridesmaid or Best Man dress ended up being $60 or something.

I love the first picture of long dresses. They could totally wear that again! Cute little sandles and that’s an outfit I would wear out to lunch!
