Not from anywhere near, but we had ours done at a state park. Do you have any nearby? Or a relative with lots of pretty land?

If you are willing to drive?  Julian can be fun.  Or Temecula.  I know Torrey Pines can be beachy but if you hit it at the right time in the spring with all the wild flowers it is beautiful. And you wouldn’t have to shoot the beach.  Just more the cliffs and flowers.

I know my location is Delaware, but I lived in SD for 3 years.

I was in the same boat as you and had seen so many e-shoots in Balboa Park, at the beach, etc. so knew I DIDN’T want that. Agree with DEBeachGilr on Julian, we almost had ours done in there, but decided on Old Town instead (in the park/historical area). They turned out really cute with the old architecture and my photographer found a lot of cute little nooks with pretty trees, flowers, etc. I also have seen some done in Mission Trails that are gorgeous and also at Sunset Cliffs at the end of the road where there is a lot of tall grass, trees (NOT on the beach/cliffs), which were cute. Good luck!!

I wanted pictures in a row boat like from the notebook so we went to a local lake and borrowed a boat

We took ours at the Griffth Observatory in Los Angeles. We are not beach people nor did we wanna go to a park or something. Plus that location holds special meaning for us 🙂

@BreezyBride24 Thank you yes she was in a motor boat and we were in a row boat. Her hubby has a nice boat so he dragged us around the lake a bit as I didn’t realize how difficult it really is to row a boat. LOL it was so funny

We took ours at Lake Murray and Mission Trails Park. I’m pretty sure you can take dogs to either one.

Or have you looked into maybe Torrey Pines?
