We took ours in the city down by the water. I don’t think it hurts to ask!

I think asking to use a location is perfectly fine, she can always say no if she is uncomfortable with the idea.

We took ours all around Yosemite National Park, can’t go wrong there!

Definitely ask….it’s fun to do pictures somewhere that has meaning instead of random pretty park…we did a majority of ours at our favorite sushi bar.

@inky_1:  that sounds like a really cool idea, go for it and ask!

We are doing ours in our backyard and along the beach of the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore.  We rent a house that has 3 acres of land behind it which the previous tenant still uses to grow irises and daylilies for his online business, so the background is more picturesque than it sounds at first haha.  I can’t wait, the shoot is in two weeks!!

We took ours at Fort Tryon park in the northern part of Manhattan.  Our wedding pictures will have more of a “city” feel since we’ll be in Union Square, so we went for a more “nature” look for the e-pics.  Plus it was spring, and the parks are all so pretty that time of year.

We did a couple at our house with our dog, that was special because it was the place we purchased together & of course our baby (dog) was with us. Then we went to downtown Cleveland. We both love the downtown area & have lots of fun memories down there. We got some really cool “city” shot, lots of great architecture and we went down by the lakefront & Browns stadium. I was very happy we decided to have our pictures taken there!

I’m sure the riding teacher would love to have you there, it’s something special to you. Definetly ask!

I don’t think it would be inappropriate at all, I think it would make really beautiful pictures. My fiance and I took ours at an old abandoned fort in our home town, and the great thing was the fort had a beach on the back side so we got two different types of photos πŸ™‚

If I wasn’t terrified of horses (horse accident at 13) I’d probably want to do horses myself. They’re trying to convince me to use a horse carriage for the wedding as it’s going to be at an old plantation home, but boy do they spook me out!

A couple of our photos πŸ™‚

Oh and I was sick and had just gotten off work an hour before the shoot, I tried to bail on the shoot I was so sick but thankfully Fiance convinced me to go through with it πŸ™‚
