BeeutifulBee:  I had all of my girls come to my house and we took a limo from LA to Palm Desert. We basically got nice and drunk in the limo lol. We stayed at the JW Marriot resort. They had everything we needed so it was like a mini Vegas, but without the casino. There were 8 of us and we stayed in 3 different rooms. Some girls were rowdier than others and wanted to keep partying while the rest were ready to turn in. We met at the pool in the morning for drinks and snacks at the pool. It worked out perfectly.

BeeutifulBee:  your girls are supposed to throw the bachelorette party, which also means they choose the location. I would let them know you are willing to travel and leave it to them!

BeeutifulBee:  We went away to a beach town for 3 days. We stayed Thursday- Sunday. It was about a 3 hour drive. We rented a condo.

Bosswedding2016:

requesting a no gifts/cash for our wedding

Please don’t do this! Never mention gifts.  By mentioning gifts you’re being presumptious.  People will give or not give a gift at their own discretion.

BeeutifulBee:  Oh you can definitely go to Vegas more than once haha! We go all the time. I love it.

Our weekend consisted of a lot of partying haha.

We got there Friday, went out for dinner and had a few drinks.

Saturday we had a table reserved at a pool party and that was a blast….. Then that night we had a table reserved at a club as well. The club was a great time, we did bottle service (well, we did that at the pool too) but it included some Ace of Spades Champagne which is my favorite. We all really enjoyed that.

We didn’t do any touristy stuff because we’ve been there, done that.

I definitely recommend checking out some of the shows, cirque du sole is amazing and the different casinos are all stunning with lots of shopping and stuff to see and do.

We like to splurge on our bachelorette parties a bit lol. We’ve been to 2 other parties in Vegas since my own and in a month we are off to Mexico on a cruise for another one.

If you go to Vegas with a big group, the penthouses at the Elara are perfect for that (it is connected to Planet Hollywood) and they are very reasonable priced. If you go with a couple of girlfriends or even your better half, I recommend the Venetian. All the rooms are suites and it is the most amazing Casino there (in my opinion at least) lol.

I traveled to my hometown lol. That’s where everyone else is, and I would have felt obligated to host people if they came here. We had some penis-themed games and snacks at my best friend’s place and played a couple of games and had a penis piñata with candy, then we went out to a gay club then a bar then a burger place, and it was perfect.

Actually, my sister thought about having her bachelorette where I live, which would have been everyone else traveling and me hosting people at my house. When I finally told her I wasn’t sure about the logistics, she admitted that she had realized that, but was worried people had gotten excited and would be disappointed. No one was disappointed.

We went from Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas to MGM to see a Crque du Soleil show. Pretty simple

BeeutifulBee:  We live near Texas wine country (Fredericksburg), so we stayed there for the weekend. Fraction of the cost of getting to Napa (fly into ATX or SAT), rent a house, take an all day wine tour, buy bottles that are on average $30-40, and stroll around the very cute old town. It was one of the best weekends of my life. Hugely recommend.

sayk15:  in my culture it is expected that guests give cash, so it actually is necessary to specify that we don’t want anything. We will not be mentioning gifts on our invites, but we are spreading this info via word of mouth.

MrsPiggles:  Right?! We had so much fun at dinner, the pool, on our balcony, etc. The only thing I wasn’t so much into was the club. The crowd that night was just weird and too many seasoned gentlemen approached us so we left lol. I heard some of my friends crashed an Indian wedding on site, though haha. Also the morning after, I went to grab Starbucks in the hotel and totally slipped down the stairs in front of everyone where the gondola is. I was so freaking embarrassed and my butt hurt so badly for a week. But at least I have that story to tell lol.

CestTresJolie14:  We never even saw the club!!!!

I thought there was one only because we could hear really loud music every night from our room (duh, this explains a lot haha) but we never even got to go.

We loved the pool, the pool party was pretty awesome, but it was just DH and I so we didn’t do too much partying.

I considered this place for my bachelorette too but the girls really wanted to go to Vegas so we ended up just doing that instead.

Glad to hear you had fun here! I’m definitely excited to go back soon.
