@Lizabean:  Technically the internet is where I found the jeweler, and I dealt with them by e-mails and phone (they are cross country), but they are a brick and mortar store. I bought my first ring from an online wholesale type website and it was a disaster!

I would love to have an heirloom ring but unfortunately that wasn’t an option for us :/ I was also to nervous to buy online (and didn’t really know about all of the online resources that I have since found thanks to the bee!) so we got my ring from a brick and mortar store. It’s not necessarily a chain as there are only 5 stores (all located in WI) but it’s not really a mom and pop shop either.

Where did you get your ring? Or are you still looking?

3 different brick motar stores! Lol Zales (celebration diamond center stone) Wickersham jewelers (wedding band)and Stuarts jewelers ering setting. So, 1 chain and 2 local stores.

Mine is from the internets.  Specifically Amazon.  Love it, good an insane deal on it.  ๐Ÿ™‚  It’s a replacement/upgrade for my original solitaire that I lost after 8 years of wearing it!

This is my fave pic of mine that I have uploaded.

@Lizabean:  I feel the same about learning more about rings and wanting to see more of them! I got engaged before joining the Bee so I had no idea about all the options out there. That might be a good thing though because I’m not sure how I ever could have decided…

Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚ We bought a separate band. The two rings are actually from two different stores. I was a little shocked when the second band I tried on fit almost perfectly because I thought I would have to go the custom route.
