Fiance got the center stone from his dad’s friend who is a diamond dealer (is that the right term?) for an amazing price! We then had the ring custom made at Eli’s Jewelry in the LA Jewelry District.

Fi bought my ring ata local independent jewlery store.  It’s actually an estate ring from the 40s, so I guess it’s technically second hand from a jewelry store.

I have a three stone ring, and my side stones are family heirlooms. The center stone was also supposed to be a family heirloom, but my Future Mother-In-Law decided at the last minute that she didn’t want to part with the diamond Fiance had planned on using, so she replaced it with a diamond from a family friend who is a jeweler.

Ring came from an antique dealer in Tucson, Arizona. It is from the 1920s and I love it.

Sapphire and setting were bought “new” (as new as any stone can be, of course) at an ‘ethical’ independent jeweler in NYC.  We are having a new e-ring made for me, after I realized this one wasn’t right for far too many reasons, out of the yellow gold settings melted down from my mom’s two former e-ring settings (my dad bought her entirely new rings each time she lost her diamon; the third time he bought her an anniversary band) and the stones from Moissaniteco.com.

Hubs bought mine at the PX (Post exchange-he was in the Army), and I love it. Tax free! Go baby go! I was with him when we bought my wedding band…it was a wedding band and anniversay band combo kind of thing. We got it at the PX as well. They have great prices, just not a FANTASTIC selection. I think they can order things though.

Manhattan Diamond District.  FI got my ering there, and we went together to pick out my band.  Love them both and paid way less than in a more traditional store.

My center diamond belonged to my great grandmother and the setting and smaller diamonds are from alocal jeweler. The accent stones on my great grandmother’s ring were used in my wedding band and I can’t wait to wear them together.

My ring came from a independent jeweler. He custom made me a  setting based on what my Fiance asked for. He also picked all the diamonds included in the ring.
