I’ve seen aisle decor done all three of these ways listed above but cannot decide which one? I would love to have decor on every pew BUT thats just so darn expensive! I’m still considering it, but I’m leaning towards just the first 3 on each side reserved for family. I’m not sure if thats not decorative enough though? How often are everyone putting decor on their pews/chairs? Thanks!

We aren’t putting anything on the chairs/pews. We will have some vases with poms and feathers that I put together on the floor next to each; maybe every other, row of chairs starting from the closest row to the front.
This is the link to what I put together:

What are you doing for decoration and how many aisles do you have?
We did every one, we only had 4 aisles and diyed them. I would do every other if it were going to be more expensive though.

@artbee: My ceremony is at a church and theres probably about 25 pews on each side.
I think I’m doing something simple like this:

We opted for simple decor on the chairs because we had an elaborate arbor and we wanted the focus to be on our gorgeous wooded grove that surrounded the ceremony, so we only did light flower petals on the aisle and floral decor on the back of the two chairs on the back row on either side of the aisle. I thought it looked gorgeous.

There’s another option. Put aisle decor on each of the reserved pews or rows of chairs, and then every other row to the back.

I’d do decor all the way from the front to the back if you choose to do it (ie not just the reserved rows). But if you have a lot of rows, you don’t have to do every row or even every other. I’ve seen it done every 3-4 rows too and I think as long as it goes all the way from front to back you’re fine! (if it stops mid-way back it looks unfinished, IMO).

Ours was a little different in that my daughter wasn’t walking ‘down the aisle’ per se, but the guests were. The bridal party followed a path to the beach, but exited from the beach up the aisle. I chose to have decorations on only the back row of seats on both sides.
In last year’s wedding, I did every other seat all the way down the aisle since it was a different setup.

I’m doing every other row to save money. I think that looks a little more finished than only doing the first few rows.
