I went with VISTAPRINT, their prices are Outstanding! and they always have sales going on. They have templates OR you can design your own, which is what I did.

I have heard really good things about weddingpaperdivas.com, but have also found really awesome things on Etsy!

I totally second, third etsy! They have some really great designs that can be made into your own custom colors. You can either have it printed by them, or your can request to purchase the digital file and print it yourself (Catprint has this 130lb Lux cotton paper that is nice and thick like letterpress paper).

I am going to be using http://www.elli.com/

I haven’t orded the invites themselves yet, but ordering samples was quick and easy, and I think they have good prices, and I love their customer service. (The invite I really wanted a sample of was out of stock for samples at the momment and they still got it to me really fast.) I really like the paper quality, its nice and thick and its standard.

@Soladylike:  Samples, samples, samples!  My fiance and I both ordered different samples from Invitations by Dawn, Vistaprint, Minted, and Wedding Paper Divas.  Then we went into a Papyrus store to pick out some invitations.

Turns out that our favorite WPD design looked just like the more expensive Crane invite we picked out!  Our invites from WPD look great, they let us revise them several times with no problems, they came right on time, and even the free envelopes feel nice and thick — I recommend WPD, and I absolutely recommend ordering (free, if possible) samples until you find the right one!  Have fun!

I got mine from Michaels and we’re putting in a little grunt work, but I agree with other people when they say Etsy.  I’ve heard good things about a lot of their invites and I’m sure they’ll be able to work with you, sending samples and whatnot to create exactly the invite you want.

Hi all!

I was wondering if anyone has purchased invitations online from the US living in Canada and how their experience was?

My concern is the customs and duties that I might have to pay and if the cost would really make it worth it in the end?

I cant seem to get a straight answer from the online companies themselves!

Thanks!!
