i talk to my Fiance or my friends. i try not to tell my mom too much because she’ll get worried and worked up over it. she means well, bless her heart, but she’s not a huge help when it comes to a crisis.

can you share with the board what’s bothering you?

Usually I talk to my fiance, but occasionally I’ll call my mom, sister or cousin to chat/vent. I bet some bees could help encourage you if you’re willing to share what’s going on!

Darling Husband and my grandmother.  They’re the only two that understand me the best.

Darling Husband or my mom. They know me best. Why haven’t you talked to anyone in over a week?

@starrynight:  I thought about your question a bit… and, this may sound ‘cliche’, but it’s usually my faith in and relationship with God.  At the end of the day, we are all alone.  Our human loved ones can only do so much and, because they are human, they will fall short and won’t always meet our needs or expecations.  I don’t know if it’s applicable to you or not, but thought I’d share.  Also, I’m sorry to hear that you are taking a break from Darling Husband to figure things out.  Are there any support groups in your area?  Maybe even a divorce support group (I know you aren’t at that point, but perhaps it would be a place of encouragement and connection).

@starrynight:  it may not be where you feel it should be (I’m assuming that’s what you mean by garbage), but it doesn’t mean that God isn’t in pursuit of you.  I know you mentioned that you are newish to town – are there any churches in your area that are appealing at all?  perhaps ones that already have support groups that you could join?

Mr. O, momma, or Maid/Matron of Honor Cubbie. They know me best and know how to deal with me when I let my anxiety take over. Dad’s a great option too, but has less sympathy for the anxiety that I can’t control. Always open ears here on the Bee, too!

I just go somewhere busy – a cafe or restaurant – and write. The paper always listens 🙂 maybe you need a weekend trip home or a friend to come visit. Or be active, exercise always helps me feel good about myself.
