I like living in a clean place.

When I know I am going to have guests….or in the case of this weekend, my parents! Cue the mad-cleaning dash!

I don’t. Seriously.. you should see my place, it’s gross. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I invite people over. I don’t want my friends seeing my place look like a dump, so you bet your butt I clean like a madwoman when I know I’m having guests over!

If I have any reason to believe guests will be coming over, I am freakishly obsessive about every ounce of my home being perfectly clean.

Otherwise, I like to keep it neat – but I also live here for free and it was the arrangement with my Fiance. He pays the rent, and I keep the place clean. ๐Ÿ™‚

I only really get into a cleaning-buzz/cooking-buzz if I’m angery or depressed. Other than that I’ll clean if I’m expecting guests or simply because I like living in a clean-ish area

I don’t clean like a crazy person but I get really annoyed and I’m unable to focus when I can see a mess. Like sometimes I just want to lay in bed and read but I can’t do it if our room looks like a tornado just hit. I’ve got to admit, if I can’t see it it’s ok so sometimes I just throw it into our walk in closet to deal with later ๐Ÿ™‚

FI’s dad lives just with FI’s brother (FMIL and Future Father-In-Law are divorced) and neither of them have much motivation to clean so Future Father-In-Law invites people over to give himself motivation!!

@Firefighter_Bride:Oh I forgot I do that too. If I’m really frustrated or stressed out sometimes I just have to clean because it gives me an outlet and something to focus on.

Procrastination (something I’d rather do less) or Company.  ๐Ÿ™‚  If I get a clean house then it’s easier for me to maintain but yeah, I don’t particularly enjoy it.
