queenbre :  So my fiance did get a diamond e-ring as my engagement ring and the website he purchased from provided such a great experience that we purchased my band from there too! They have all types of beautiful gemstone options that you can custom build. Check out James Allen! https://www.jamesallen.com/?gclid=Cj0KCQjwtLT1BRD9ARIsAMH3BtW6OwztsJQsstTbT1XFJdgVDwJTz2OhdJNy3nyYGYPKacj47BHlrBgaAnM7EALw_wcB

JamesAllen.com has gem stones that you can purchase individually and/or set them into a ring setting.

alexandrian :  I also had a great experience with James Allen! My fiance bought my oval diamond engagement ring there and we recently also purchased my eternity diamond band from there. My next purchase from JA will be an oval sapphire with a diamond halo!!

I went with Moissanite Co (they have gems too, you just have to request one) but I was heavily considering Shane Co and Etsy. What I loved about Shane Co was that I got to see loose gems in store on my finger, and the jeweler I worked with was very kind.

queenbre :  mine is from many different places. my ring incorporates rings that my husband had gifted me throughout the years.

The diamonds are from a vintage wedding set I wore (we got through etsy; The Smoky quartz is from a ring that was a ring from Macys; and the Morganite was from a seller who has a shop both online and etsy.

(excuse my fingers: my son wanted to add caps on my fingers)

I haven’t purchased from him, but several people on Pricescope recommend Gary Braun from Fine Water Gems. He sells the loose stones, but take a look at his site. Some of his sapphires are seriously drool worthy!~ There’s some serious eye candy over there!

queenbre :  it’s not my e rings but I got a STUNNING morganite ring from EJ Collections on Etsy. He guarantees his work and offers a lifetime of any tightening of prongs etc. great price too. You can find cheaper, but the quality is NOT the same. I got a $500 ring from Two Peridot Birds or something like that off Etsy and it BENT within 6 months 😭 paid somewhere between 1200-1800 (can’t remember!) for the new, bigger BETTER ring from EJ Collections and it’s lasted me a long time. I did send it back to get prongs tightened once and it was a free easy process. I designed the ring myself. 🙂
