Where do you get your non-diamond E-ring??

I wear a few rings as an engagement ring that are non-diamond. I also have a morganite and it doesn’t get any dirtier then some of my other gemstone rings. I do see finger prints more often though because it is an emerald cut but it is not cloudy.

I inherited a sapphire so I made a ring for that. An aquamarine and tourmaline that I had cut this year and put into rings is from a US lapidary.  I wanted to go through the whole process from the very beginning because I enjoy the design phase. We got to go rough shopping online for a few weeks until we found the right pieces. It was a lot of fun and has more meaning because they are unique and not mass produced. I highly recommend supporting a lapidary because it is a dying trade.

I didn’t use Bryan for my projects but I can highly recommend him from Stag & Finch too (Canada based).

Are you dead set on ordering online?  If not, try a local independent jewelry store.  They often have beautiful, unique pieces and, with the current situation, many may be offering great deals because they need the business.  One of my favorite local jewelers just did a Facebook Live show and announced a 2 day 50% off sale of his entire stock.  You might find the perfect gemstone ring and help a small business.

I loved Gemvara. So many options and I could customize side stones/shape/etc. plus great sales! My set was under $1200 after a sale. A great gemstone experience after having the traditional diamond in my first marriage.

@queenbre:  just like JemmyGee, my husband and I got my recent green asscher cut emerald halo upgrade from Kurt Ung off Etsy. I am blown away by the beauty, color and clarity of the emerald at such an amazing price point too. I checked other jewellers locally, as well as online, and usually the.local jewellers use heavily included/ opaque emeralds which were more expensive as well as smaller. We got a good deal, and the ring is stunning. My ring size is a 7, but I got 7.25 for swelling in summer. We plan on buying the curved diamond bands for future anniversaries. Total weight is 23/4 cts and the halo is 11.7×11.2 on my finger.

We went to the local jeweler where one would normally buy a diamond ring, and we purchased the setting, then the stone separately. The jeweler then set the stone once it was received from the supplier. It turned out beautiful, and we saved a ton of money versus buying a diamond. My birth month is March, which is aquamarine, and I loved that an aquamarine basically can look like a diamond with a slight blue tint, if it is high quality enough.
