I always scour the sale racks at Sports Authority and Academy, and have found all my pairs for around $15

I’ve had good luck finding tops and pants at Ross and TJ Maxx, but they never seem to have good shorts.

Good luck, fellow runner!

Baha, I was just going to say… TJ Maxx 🙂 But I use spandex mostly because my butt is so big that shorts just ride up too much. I don’t want to worry about my shorts when I’m working out. They have a good selection of those, and I believe when I wore shorts I got them from TJ Maxx as well!

Sport Authority and a local soccer supply store back home.I use the “old fashioned” soccer shorts though I know a lot of girls on campus LOVE the new Nike running shorts with the higher cut sides.

I like American Apparel cotton spandex bike shorts. I know it’s so 80’s, but I hate the feeling of longer loose shorts flapping around, and I worry people can see up shorter shorts (like while I’m stretching or working out on various machines). These cotton cycle shorts are perfect for me because they’re not like shiny spandex, they’re stretchy and comfy, don’t ride up my butt, don’t fall down, and no one can see up them.

lululemon all the way – i totally drink the koolaid and have about 9 seperate garnments from there and love them all!!! their shorts are the only running shorts i have which don’t cause me to experience EXTREME chaffing.
