Mostly from our paychecks, some savings. Our family isn’t giving us any $$. Ours will be around 15,000 for 150 people. We are just being frugal in the mean time, trying to space it all out so no huge payments all at once.

Our wedding budget at the end of the day it will be around 20k, including rings, not including honeymoon because we won’t be able to take one due to me having a new job (hopefully),
About half of it was a (very) unexpected “gift” from my parents. I say “gift” because they are still giving us a wedding gift, but this is what they’re paying as “the hosts of the party” – their words, not mine.
about 1/4 is from FI’s parents and his grandparents (we’d visit, they’d give us a check and say “put it towards the wedding” about $200 at a time. We just put it in our savings account and it’s almost $3k). His parents are also paying the Rehearsal Dinner at their insistance (about 1500).
The rest is us. We’re both saving, but not so much that’s really impacting our lifestyle.
We feel incredibly fortunate to have the money from our parents. Initially we were paying for the whole thing ourselves, so we made a majorly tight budget for ourselves that was basically “eat ramen for two years and take short showers”.
