I think color schemes are irrelevant.

What imho IS relevant with regard to the colors chosen are the venues.  Is it outdoor?  Do you want to echo colors found in nature?  If it’s indoors what are the surroundings like and what blends?

I also like to see colors together and love to look at different colors..for example, thurs night T and I are going to a cocktail party at the atl botanical garden..LOTS of colors and inspiration there.

I don’t go for "trendy" as I’m a classic girl.  I choose personally what suits the season, place, time of day, and my personality usually.

Did two board threads get crossed? A poll from a veil post and a subject about color trends are joined.

With regards to the "pop" of color trend, I love a black & white color scheme with a pop of color, there’s so much you can do with it, hot pink, yellow, aqua….
To me, it’s one of those that you can do so much with.
