Iceland sounds SOOO cool!
We did a mini-moon in Seattle for 4 days right after our wedding (work is busy for both of us right now and we couldn’t be gone long).
Next summer, for our 1-year anniversary, we’re going to Hawaii for one week and taking his 2 daughters with us. The following summer (2014) we will be touring Europe with my parents for 2-3 weeks. So excited!!

My future husband and I just got back from a week in Iceland (Aug 25 – Sept 1). It was pretty amazing! We so so many waterfalls, it was glorious! My suggestion is to prepare for the worst weather! It was in the 50s but the wind man dropped it to the 30s. We were mostly okay, but man was that a surprise! If you want any suggestions feel free to pm me! =)

@lechevalnoir: Thank you, if I have any questions I will most definitely PM you for suggestions/help. We have done alot research thus far, very aware of the WIND. We plan on buying wind/water resistant coats from LLBEAN or Cabellas. We are very excited! Did you drive in Iceland yourselves or did you book a package deal like we did where transportation is provided almost the entire time?

Wow. Iceland sounds awesome! We are going to Disney World…I let Fiance pick too. We had it down to Bali or Disney World. He didn’t want the hassle of passports and everything so he chose Disneyworld! We are such Disney people that it’s perfect!

We are planning a honeymoon/road trip back in the USA about six months after we get married so he can see where I grew up and meet all the people who can’t fly to NZ for our wedding. But I have been informed that he wants to go away for a mini-moon right after we get married (on a Tuesday, so for the rest of the week and the weekend). I have no idea what he has planned. I told him it can stay a surprise but that I do not want to sleep in a tent. End of summer in NZ? Awesome.

A good friend just got back from her honeymoon in Iceland. I thought it was a pretty creative place to go too!
We’re doing two weeks in the Dominican Republic. No excursions. No hikes lol. Just. Pool, beach, bed!

Fiance and I both work in Travel, so we’re doing a bunch of things. Flying to Seattle, staying a night, taking the Amtrak up to Vancouver BC, staying 2 nights, boarding a cruise from Vancouver to San Diego, then spending 3 days in San Diego before flying back home. 🙂
