Im not shopping for myself just yet, but for my family members and friends, I would always buy from consignment shops and nice thrift shops. Ifuyou make sure to inspect the clothes thoroughly,  there is a lot of good, never worn or gently worn stuff out there. I always wash it with dreft though, not only to ensure cleanliness,  but also for the soft baby smell. The best thrift id ever been to was ran by the base I was stationed at. I got a grocery bag filled to the brim with outfits for my friends son for $3. He had enough clothes until he was 4 months old, and only ran out because he had gotten to chubby for them! Congrats on the son on the way!

I love looking at zulily… Haven’t bought anything yet because we don’t know what the baby is yet. I don’t think the sales are all that great though. Ive shopped at Target, Sears and JcPenny’s on clearance sales. 🙂

I have a 6 month baby boy and my absolute favorite is Baby Gap, Polo, Zara, and H&M for baby boys.  I live in Maryland and there are consignment fairs 4 times a year that I buy most of his clothes at.  It is called the Tot Swap if anyone lives in MD area otherwise there are similar sales around the US.  This is one I heard about.  http://www.jbfsale.com/default.cfm

TJ Maxx & Marshalls are my favorites because they have the same stuff Carters has but for much cheaper, though their selection varies day-to-day. This week I bought 6 onesies for $7 and they also had some cute sets with a onesie, pants, bib and slippers for like $2-$4 each. Makes it hard to shop anywhere else, but the stuff at Carters is SOOO cute.

Once Upon A Child, seriously you can get brand name stuff for dirt cheap and it is used very lightly. I got little boy 4 pairs of pj’s on Monday.  All of them looked brand new and instead of spending 9 to 10 bucks normal I spent maybe total of 5 bucks for them. I also bought him jeans (18 month) ones.

I normally hit up there and in the summer garage sales and clearance racks. I refuse to pay full price baby/toddler clothes

I like Baby Gap.  It’s cute, but not overly so.  I’m not a fan of really cutesy baby clothes.
