They will give you a free pair! I ripped an old pair of AE jeans up the ass while squatting in an awkward position (fuckin’ fax machine!) … luckily I work a few blocks from AE, so I ran in, with the ripped jeans on, and they have a warranty, even though they were SO OLD and they gave me brand new ones!

I was going to suggest ModCloth before I got to the bottom of your post! The reviews are pretty helpful and usually mention whether an item runs big or small.

Most of my clothes are from Banana Republic and H&M, great options for a “womanly” figure. BR is mostly my work clothes, but some casual stuff as well. And there are always great sales at their outlets!!

Wow thanks so much for the responses! Sorry for the delay, I had the commute home, workout, and dinner.
Favorite boyfriend are my favorite AE jeans too!
WOAH. Lol wow thanks for all the links! I have never checked out BlueFly, I definitely will though. I never really shopped online for clothes before because I thought most sites charged for shipping and return shipping (like VS, ugh that bugs me!). Thanks for the boot suggestions, I have a pair of high boots but they aren’t very stylish so I was hoping to upgrade this fall, and never would have thought of checking Target. Seriously, thank you for all of the suggestions!
We do have a Nordstrom Rack but I didn’t see much, it’s definitele a store I’ll go back to
I love Marshalls and TJ Maxx, but I usually strike out in the clothes department there.
Thanks everyone for all the great store suggestions, I’ll be doing a lot of ‘window’ shopping tonight! We’ll also be going to the outlets this weekend which has BR, Gap, Ann Taylor etc. Previously I couldn’t ever really spend much on clothes, so I’d buy a few pieces, and they’d be worn out after a season because I had such little variety. This should not be much of an issue this year, now I just need to fill my closet.

That is crazy! I’ve never heard of that! I’m surprised BR would offer that, I only ever see what seems like temp employees there, but I also usually only go to the outlet so maybe the actual store would offer. I don’t know if I can afford Nordstrom’s, Lord & Taylor etc, but I’ll definitely look into it. Thanks for the tip!

You’re welcome, good luck! Two of my friends swear by Target’s boots. Get a pair! They have so many cute ones this fall. And I would recommend doing a mix of online shopping and outlet shopping, sometimes it’s overwhelming to spend all day shopping in person and you only find one or two things you like, but online you can compare prices for similar things from different stores, and most stores offer hassle-free returns. (i.e. free shipping, even when you return something)
