Our cat can pretty much sleep whereever she wants. Sometimes that’s curled up next to my face, or wrapped around my arm, and sometimes she prefers to sleep on the floor next to the bed.

When my cat was a baby she’d sleep on my head, then after she (thankfully) realized she was too big for that she slept next to me. Now that Fiance and I live together she either sleeps on top of me, between us, or under the bed. She’s still not sure she likes him very much.

My dogs have a few beds around the apartment, but at night they sleep in bed with us ๐Ÿ™‚

We have 2 cats – they sleep wherever they feel like.  ๐Ÿ˜‰  usually with tickly bits (whiskers, tails) in our faces ๐Ÿ™‚

@Dogsbody92:  they’re pugs, so it’s funny to walk by and see their huge eyes peeking out.  Also to walk by the crib and hear deafening snoring.

Our dog sleeps either on the floor kind of under our bed, or in his own bed.  We both wish he’d sleep in our bed, but he prefers not to.  Before we adopted him, Darling Husband said he didn’t want “the dog” to sleep in our bed, and now he’s the one most upset that he won’t share the bed with us!  OP- I’m guessing that your SO will change his mind after he starts getting attached to the dog.  If we ever tried to keep our dog in a different room, he would pitch a whiney, yelping fit.

Typically our cats sleep on our bed but sometimes we catch them on the couch, a chair, or my SO’s ironing board. We can’t dictate where they sleep while we’re sleeping- that’s ridiculous.

I voted in their own space. When I lived on my own my 2 cats slept with me. Since my guy is allergic, I’ve agreed that the bedroom is a no cat zone. I totally understand but boy do I miss waking up with my babies around me. Since he is allergic when we’re at work or asleep, they are in the basement. If we are home, they have the run of the house except for the upstairs room. That was my idea. I wanted him to have a cat free zone. But since my own cat has decided he loves my Fiance more than me, I’m starting to wonder why I agreed to that! But last weekend he did agree to leave the cats up while we went out for a bit. Progress!

One of our cats likes to sleep on the back of our couch.  We have a throw blanket on the back and he curls up on that.

Our female cat likes to sleep in our bedroom on the floor.  I have a pile of dirty clothes that is in one corner almost everyday, its usually just PJ’s and a towel that I throw into the laundry when I come home from work, and everyday she’s curled up on the pile sleeping.

She also likes to sleep above the cabinets in the kitchen.

Our cats sleep wherever they like… usually they follow me around the house and sleep in whatever room I’m in. At night, they sleep in our bed with us. Fiance used to complain, but you can tell he thinks it’s actually really cute. Whenever I’m away then he sends me pictures of them cuddled up in bed with him.
