My moissy is so new I am just getting used to it. The bathroom and kitchen makes it glitter but up in my bedroom all I get is small flashes. I wondered where you ladies go to get the best from it? Are there places where it doesn’t sparkle much?
I know that the darker the room the less it lights up. I was is in a dim pub last night and though it still glinted, it didn’t ignite like it does in lighter, brighter situations!
I was hoping to get some fun moissy stories! The good and the bad of the gorgeous little rock! Feel free to include picture evidence and any tips to get great photos!

I wish I had pictures! I was at a bar last night and my moissy was reflecting the red and green from the neon signs. It was SO pretty and so sparkly!
For me, so far, it looks best in natural light, but I haven’t had it a whole day yet, so I’m still observing it, haha.

Yeah, mine was going crazy a minute ago under my lamp. I am SO in love. By the way, your ring is stunning! Congrats!

mine is a second hand old yellow tinted moissy. But in my bathroom, in the reflection of windows or mirrors is most sparkly. In the sunshine but I am in Manchester UK the rainy city so don’t get much of that. In all other places and lighting its a little yellow/cloudy but still see colours un it.

I usually wear my moissies stacked beside my diamonds and they both sparkle similarly to lighting, just with the moissy in the lead for throwing fire. I think it was you who posted once “it’s such an entertaining stone” and I agree.

Oh, and to answer the lighting question, sunshine by far and away makes them sparkle the most.
LED light, surprisingly enough, seems to make them sparkle the most while indoors.

MrsKDW: Ooh, cool. Well, Debenhams have a sale on just now for moissy rings and I love mine. Made by Lady Harvey jewellery and its stunning. Great craftsmanship! I’m in edinburgh! Weather has been gorgeous. Its been encouraging DH to work out a lot more which I like. Want him healthy so he can live til he’s ninety three!

I didn’t know Debenhams did moissy rings. I know Ferne cotton and holly Willoughby’s catalogue very does them

MrsKDW: yeah, I saw them but to be honest I wasn’t very struck. Debenhams has a gorgeous range. And well priced!
NFLwidow: many! We are always having power cuts.

Yipeebee:
You probably have an LED flashlight. Start having some fun with that and post some pics!

Yipeebee: Can I ask you where you got your ring from? I’m getting a moissy and it looks very similar to yours!
