Bored so this is just for fun…
I like to wear my ring a few mm above the base of my finger — it’s most comfortable that way. I’ve rarely worn rings before being engaged so at first I wore it at the very base of my finger but that started feeling strange whenever I’d stretch my fingers. I also had my ring sized to fit more comfortably in that spot too.
I’ve noticed bees like to wear it in a variety of places and that also affects finger size too as our entire finger may not be uniform. It’s very interesting. Pics would be lovely!

Mine is probably closer to halfway in between the base of my finger and my knuckle. I hate when it is too close to the base of my finger, it feels uncomfortable to me!

surferbridetobe: Mine sits right at the base. I have extremely small hands (length/width wise, although my fingers are chubby) so I basically HAVE to wear it there or it’s entirely too close to my knuckle for comfort. I know, my fingers/hand situation sounds SUPER sexy. Try not to be jealous! 😉

Mine sits right in the middle of my finger I guess?

Mine sits pretty close to the base of my finger.

I never really thought about this. In pictures, I think it looks like my rings sit a few mm above the base of my finger. But, in reality, they are pretty much at the base of my finger — at least on one side. I think this is because of the way my fingers are shaped.
I try not to think about my fingers and hands too much. It’s the path to madness for me — ha, ha!

Mine sit just a few mm above the base of the digit. There’s a little bit of wiggle or twirl room.
edit: In the picture the rings do seem to sit more distal, so I guess it varies!

I guess it depends. In some photos it looks a bit different. More towards the base though. So I voted a few mm above the base of the finger. 🙂

Near the knuckle. I can’t have a ring anywhere near the base; it itches and stretches.

Probably a few mm above the base. It’s a knife edge band, so it’s most comfortable at the chubbiest point haha

Sweet.Sugar.Rose: Is your wedding band rose gold? I really love it!

MissLibra: Thank you! Yes, it is 14k rose gold. 🙂

Pics are pretty deceiving I think. If I spread apart my fingers, you can tell it’s at the base, but when I put my fingers together, it looks like it’s sitting several mm’s up.
