We us a pack n play with bassinet. It’s in our room. DS is 3 months old but once he’s 5/6 months he’ll be in his crib. He only wakes up once during the night and sometimes not at all so I think we’ll be good to go!

Dear Daughter slept beside our bed in her bassinet for the first two months. Then she was too big and spent two months in her pack n’ play, then moved to her crib in the nursery. She was a noisy baby and kept waking us up. She’s always been a great sleeper but got even better in her own room 🙂

Napper portion of the pnp. Then, when she outgrew it she went into the pnp itself (bassinet setting) for a few weeks until we moved her to the crib in her room at 4 months.

HoorayLouLou:  I love the wipe warmer. It gets really cold here in the winter time and it feels good to have warm wipes in my hands. When I go out I use cold wipes and they are freezing cold. I would not want to use freezing cold wipes on my son when it’s already cold out.

Bored6:  I understand the concept of a wipe warmer, and it does get cold here too. But you don’t warm wipes when you’re out (in the car they’d get the coldest) and I just never found them to be FREEZING, as you’re making it seem. To each their own.

I don’t have kids but my best friend had both her children in a bassinet when they were newborns. It was very mobile which was great. They could have them in the bedroom with them or out with them in the great room. They both transitioned to cribs with no issues.

Personally I’m not a co-sleeping fan. I know of a horrible story from when I worked with the police department and couldn’t chance it. I know that sort of thing is rare but still

My daughter is just one month.  We have her in the rock and play next to the bed.  It was inexpensive, lightweight and she loves it.  We have a crib for when she is a little bigger.

my daughter slept with me for the first 6 months of her life, and no, i dont regret it. She felt safe and we bonded, and it made feedings much easier.

We shared a bed until she was a month old (and when I stopped breastfeeding due to allergies).  After that we put her in the Rock ‘n Play in our room (which we LOVE) and she’s still there at 3.5 months.

PakiBee03:  Our 1 month old daughter sleeps in her crib in the nursery. We have a pack n play in our room but she’s never slept in it. When we brought her home, she did well in her crib so we kept going with that. I try to lay her down in the pack n play for naps but she’s just not into it. Hopefully the pack n play will come in handy when she’s older.
