With much different work schedules, it’s really hard to take weekend long trips, much less full vacations, together! We do mini-trips (like an hour away, to towns we haven’t visited before, etc) as much as we can.
As far as actually traveling, only one big trip really. We went to the Bahamas a few years ago, and stopped at Florida on our way back so he could meet my extended family 🙂
For our honeymoon, we’ll be doing more travelling, we just haven’t decided where yet!

We like going to US cites we’ve never been to, discovering what they’re all about. We’ve been to most. Just the Dakotas and Pacific Northwest left.

Our first big trip together was in Italy 3 years ago. IT was right before we moved in together, so it was really awesome.
We’re going to San Francisco and Sonoma in 3 weeks, and Costa Rica for our Honeymoon in February! Lots of traveling lately, as I was in grad school for the past 2 years and he might be in grad school for he next 4…YIKES!

Were heading to Florida in 11 days! Can’t wait! The flights were too cheap to pass up.
For our honeymoon we went on a cruise to Grand Turk, San Juan, St. Thomas and Burmuda.
We’ve also been to:

Our first trip was to London, UK (learned a lot about each other on that trip, let me tell you!). Since then we’ve been to Germany, France, London again, New York, The Dominican Republic (twice), Vancouver, Toronto… and that might be all of them. Not nearly enough, I say! Why, he hasn’t even been to Newfoundland with me and I go there at least once a month.

We go away to New Husband and Maine all the time but our best vacation was this past summer when we went to St. Thomas/St. John. It was my dream vacation for so many years! I would love to do a lot more traveling but we have to save up some money.
