The obvious to me is going to a fabric place and just getting the fabric.  But if you prefer a bit less effort, I’m sure something similar is on etsy.

@anotheroneofmany: I second the motion for picking out the fabric and DIY’ing it, or asking for a bit of help from grandma ๐Ÿ™‚ I know David’s Bridal has plain matte satin sashes with no embellishment though, I don’t know the measurments. Here are a few links:

1. This one is my favorite. It just happens to be a Vera Wang, but the sash itself is just a long ribbon. You don’t have to tie it in a bow like shown in the photo. http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_Grosgrain-Ribbon-Sash-VW370044

2. The website says this one is only 2″, but it comes in Ivory. Just don’t go off what the photo of Ivory looks like, it looks way better in person. http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_2-Inch-Satin-Ribbon-3550

3. Here is a longer ribbon sash. They also have a photo on their site that shows it wrapped around the body, instead of hanging down the back like that. It makes for a thicker, pleated sash. Kind of like fake ruching: http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_Pleated-Satin-Bridal-Sash-S100

Hope that helps. ๐Ÿ™‚

You can find what you need at a Fabric or trim shop.

Try M&J Trim in NYC. I often send brides there for sash and custom belts.
