Home for Christmas Eve with my family, probably go and visit Future Mother-In-Law on Christmas Day (she lives down the road), Boxing Day Party with FH’s family and then it’s a funeral service for Future Father-In-Law (ex-FFIL? How do you even say that correctly?) on New Years Eve.

We’re headed back to Nebraska. It’s so nice that both our families are in the same city! I do feel a bit bad, though, as I’m staying for 2 weeks to do a bunch of planning and he has to spend New Years back in NJ alone :/

I’ll be at the boy’s parent’s house for Christmas Eve, then I’m leaving him to visit my parents on Christmas Day. I’m sad we won’t be together for the entire holiday, but we both want to spend time with our families, so what can you do. New Years we spend at home with sushi and our kitties- and then take to the roof of our building to watch fireworks!

We are staying at home this year.  I’m not really up to flying anywhere yet and my husband doesn’t have a lot of time off.

We’re staying “home”, which is Ottawa, Ontario, which is his home and not mine, but where we’re living right now. Wow, that was a long sentence haha. Then, on the 27th I am flying to Halifax, Nova Scotia to spend a couple of days with my family!!

Home with our respective families. Another year apart on the holidays. But one day it will happen.

Going from our home in NYC to Long Island to his mother’s home. Not a big venture but it’s nice to get out of the concrete jungle sometimes.

We are going to NOLA to visit my parents. Easter we will be with the FI’s parents in Upstate NY.  First year that we won’t be able to do both parents for both holidays. Fiance and I moved to Richmond, and my parents moved to NOLA. Oh, well… I guess I’m getting my White Christmas today with all this snow Wink
