Also I have done some research on the wax seal and decided to do the colored glue stick because it is more flexible than wax and is less likely to break during it’s trip from the post office to your guests house.

FYI, one of my BMs used wax seals on her invites and was told at the post office that they made the envelopes too thick to go through the machines so she had to remove them before sending. You may want to check with the USPS before wasting time and $ on seals.

I ordered mine from letterseals.com about 9 months ago. They had the best prices I could find, and I would recommend them. Waaay cheaper than paper source or craft stores, even if you don’t buy in bulk. They have lots of colors and lots of accessories and stamps too!

@slicey19: I used wax seals on my inner envelopes and was able to use 42 cent stamps. Although for some reason two invitations came back to me, and I had to use 62 cents for those.

I got all of my wax and seals and glitter from mappamundi.co.uk.  They are so cheap and have  a huge range.  My family all loved the originality.

Good luck 🙂

my envelopes for my halloween invites were two layers of 80lb cardstock, two layers of velum, and wax seal and they went through the mail just fine.  the post office didnt bat an eye at their size or thickness.
