If we stayed in canada then probably somewhere out west, like Canmore, Alberta.

If anywhere in the world then positano or sorrento italy!

I don’t have a particular town or city because I’m really happy where we live now (Birmingham, UK), however, if money were no object I would love to live somewhere more rural in a nice little village.

Minneapolis, Minnesota. Tons to do, four seasons, great economy, major airport, very outdoorsy.

socalgirl1689 :  I’ve visited a bunch of times and just love it there. There’s a thriving downtown and a walkable pedestrian area filled with shops and restaurants. Burlington is right on Lake Champlain, and you can see the Adirondack Mountains across the lake, so there’s a great view. There’s lots of outdoor recreation both in the city and nearby – I love hiking and kayaking, and there’s ample opportunity to do both. I also like that you can be in a more rural area outside the city within 10 minutes.

I also really like some cities I’ve visited out west like Bozeman, MT and Bend, OR, but since I’ve only been to each place once, I don’t know if I’d actually want to live there. With Burlington it’s a few hours away from where I live now, so I could still drive home to visit family, whereas with the out west locations it would require a flight.

Pasadena, CA, in a big beautiful 1920s house on one of the tree-lined historic streets. Beautiful weather year-round, tons of amenities like a variety of restaurants and entertainment, and a short drive into LA for access to everything a bigger city offers. Within an hour or two of both the beach and the mountains or desert.

Unfortunately the nice houses I am envisioning start at like 2 million, so…

Hong Kong or Melbourne. Love both those places and would move in a heartbeat

Bergen, Norway

Auckland, New Zealand

Victoria, B.C. Canada

Sorrento, Italy.

I love where I live, but 6 months a year home and 6 months a year in once of these places would be a perfect. Brisbane in Australia would be nice as well but my husband hates snakes. bugs and other creepy crawlies.

Stowe Vt. Or Boston. I love either. Stowe for its skiing and fall foliage. Boston for its night life and history.

socalgirl1689 :  It was between Italy and Hawaii for us – I still really want to go to Hawaii too!
