Where do you go to relax, unnerve, be happy? I’ve heard many people say target or starbucks 🙂 For me, it’s the library. I love how quiet it is and all the rows of books. I also love most coffee shops tho I haven’t found a cozy one near my home. When I visited Milwaukee there was one by the university called Kristoffs I think, and it was so cozy. The upper level had bookshelves, couches, and was so intimate. Depending on the store, shopping can be a happy place for me too 🙂

I like going to Barnes and Noble, getting a coffee and Starbucks, and flipping through the cookbooks and magazines. Something about the quiet and the coffee just puts me at ease!

I think my happy place is in a claw foot tub. Used to have one and spent many many relaxing hours in it. Need to put that on my list of to do’s. Buy claw foot tub, lol….

Whole Foods, the bathtub, snuggling with my husband-to-be (thats the most ‘happy’ of all of my happy places!) 🙂

My bath tub, with candles, a glass of wine and a great magazine! I could soak in there for hours!

Honestly on my couch with a dirty martini watching SATC! I did that last night, actually it was fabulous! 🙂

Ultimately my apartment is my happy place. It’s cozy, quite, and my cat lives there. Other than that probably Target and/or Walgreens. Usually I feel better after I pick up a new nail polish, shampoo, or lipgloss haha

My bed! Cosy, warm and snuggly with SO – it’s my happy place and I hate getting up out of it in the mornings 🙂

My apartment, my couch, or just going to Target or Walmart and just browsing through everything. I could stay there for hours just looking at everything. Sounds lame, I know, but it’s great.

@6598731ssfse3: Me too! Giving yourself a little present every now and then can make you feel so much better 😀
And yeah, I love malls. I love strolling though stores and looking at everything, recently (since the proposal) I’ve always stopped at every jewelry store to look at their windows.. I love spotting little details in the jewelry, things I’d have never seen before I looked at and read about rings/gemstones.
Since I just moved to a foreign country and FH and I live with his parents, I don’t have a “real” happy place yet, my happy place used to always be my bed/apartment in general.. But we’re looking at apartments right now, so I hope I get one soon! Sometimes I feel like “just out of here” is my happy place 😀

The beach, hands down. Sitting on the warm sand in the bright sunshine listening to the rhythmic ocean waves with a gentle, salty sea breeze blowing…. *melts away*

I absolutely love hammocks, and one day I want a yard or terrace big enough for one (no small feat in NYC!). For now, I really enjoy being in our apartment – we just got it and don’t even have a couch yet (next weekend!), but it already feels like home, and my bed always makes me happy.
@Carolyn72: One of my other life goals is to own a home with an amazing clawfoot tub. LOVE them!
@MapleMoose: I love the beach too, but we barely got to it this summer!

My bed! I love it so much 🙂 If I could spend all day in it, I would!

@6598731ssfse3: that has to be soo nice to live in a place you LOVE being! We are in a townhouse and it’s just meh. It has taken a lot of effort to make it feel homey at all.
@MapleMoose: I almost said beach. I used to live on Long Island, and now I’m in Minnesota, so I REALLY miss the beautiful, big beaches, and just laying in the warm sun for hours on end (sighs). Love it.
@sarahbabs: AHH ME TOO!! When I own a house, I need to have a hammock! lol There is this room at an art museum in St. Paul that has a room full of hammocks, it is SO cool. I nearly fell asleep when I visited last time
