My rings are from Brodkey’s (fingers crossed that he proposes soon:)  Although we had great service with them, we will go to Borsheim’s for his, as they have an insanely large selection of men’s rings.

The diamond was my Fiance grandmothers but the setting is from Jared.  It was the only store that would set the stone while he watched, every other store he went to said they had to send the stone out & he didn’t want to risk the chance of a lost stone.

We shopped for my ER together.  Went to a Gem and Jewelry show and talked to a bunch of vendors.  Found one we really liked to deal with.  At the next Gem and Jewelry show in our area that this vendor was participating in, we stopped by again.

He had a sapphire stone that we loved (in another ring) and he was willing to sell to us.  Then we had him design the ring based on our input.

The ring appraised at more than twice the cost.  Gem and Jewelry shows are great places to find jewelry at much lower prices.  The vendor was Hubert Gem in California:  http://www.hubertgem.com

Fiance had a friend whose father is an independent jeweler, so he had it custom made. We got the diamond through him, as well. It appraised for a lot more than he spent, so it turned out great!

The stone came from Moissanite & Co. and the setting was made in New York (Excel Diamonds). We got a beautiful product for a very, very good price.

My e-ring and his wedding band are from Zales. Not sure where we will end up purchasing my wedding band from though. I’m still searching for the perfect one 🙂

My e-ring and band are a set from Danforth Diamonds.  I <3 them!  His ring is from Smyth, a local jeweler.
