We’ve finally decided on Hawaii for our honeymoon, and for half of the trip, we’d like to do a cruise around the islands. We found the cruise we’d like to take, but wondering if it’s cheaper to book through the cruise line directly or if there’s some way to save money by booking elsewhere. Also, do prices change a lot over time like with flights? We’re 7 months out right now, so I’m not sure if the prices will go down or up if we wait a few months.
I’ve never been on a cruise before so would appreciate any advice. Thank you!

I’ve always booked through the cruise line. I don’t know if it’s any cheaper, but I do know that they guarantee a refund if the price drops or anything! I’ve always got really good deals through the cruise lines, and I think I would be nervous about booking through a third party for some reason.
I know nothing about flights, lol.

I don’t know if it’s the same for Hawaiian cruises, but for most others you can usually get a better deal through a travel agent that specializes in cruises. They often buy up “blocks” of rooms on the ship, so if a cruise is “sold out” the travel agent may still have empty rooms.
