We had mutual friends, had probably been in that same place at the same time before, but we officially met in a trashy bar in his home town.. To bring it full circle it was an entire year before we saw each other again, at a beer tent in my hometown. While I would never change anything about our relationship both of us kind of hate admitting we met in a bar.. twice..

The first time was in my office, he and the other new young male employee were brought around to say hello – and I remember being underwhelmed by both of them!
But a few weeks later, I was making a ton of noise after work hours, trying to wrestle a bucket of mud to prop a door open while I was elbow deep in the same mud, and I looked up and he was standing there watching me! So I just started laughing at him, because….well, i guess it was just a good feeling because he started laughing too! And then he just left – leaving me wondering when was I going to see him again!

When I got his first message to me on plentyoffish.com I was in my horribly messy bedroom in Pullman WA as a junior is college. The message said “Go Cougs”. Then when I was home in Tacoma for a quick visit I saw him face to face through the screen door at my parents house. 🙂 This was three and a half years ago! And now we’re getting married in less than a year! AH!

Sitting on the second floor of ourschools wood working class (our homeroom), hard to believe that was almost 6 years ago, especially when I think about our recent wedding! It’s so funny how things work out!

In Boston, at a friend’s bday party held in a dive bar. In the basement. It was a blizzard outside in November and I almost didn’t go but my friend said “I have a great guy friend who is PERFECT for you! You have to meet him!” The rest is history. 🙂

We worked in the same office buildings, worked late till night. The building was about to close for night and the guardian didn’t want to go check people on the higher floors, so he just switched off the light in the whole building. It turned out that we were only 2 people in the building! Thus the guardian joked that we are both so young, that we have to go date someone, not to sit at work ! We laughted, and went to the metro together. In half a year we met in the same way, laugthed at the situation, but as it was -30C, he just took my hand to the pocket of his cout. It was so daring, we had seen each other for the second time! But so comfy… =))

Somewhere at our high school at the beginning of freshman year (almost exactly 9 years ago.) Most likely on the stage where the orchestra rehearses. I can’t remember meeting him for the first time. Having orchestra in common threw us into the same general friend group. I don’t remember meeting him because it felt like he was always part of my life.

Sitting on the couch at a party!

This is pretty embarassing but Fiance and I met at a 420 party when we were 16. He was passed out at the end of the couch sitting straight up. My friend had me sleep on the couch next to him. When I woke up the next morning he was sitting in the chair across from me. He gave me a ride home and on the way we stopped at a carnival in the parking lot of a school…it was weird 🙂 LOL Not a story for the grand kids!!!
