I usually buy my suits from Tilly’s or direct from Hurley – I never buy pieces together because I need a L top and a S bottom. I almost always buy Hurley brand, and they are good quality – I swim a LOT and have never had one fall apart, and I have a few that I’ve had for over 5 years.

I don’t know how much you were looking to spend or what your style is, but these are the sites I buy my swimsuits from:

Of course I’ve also seen cute stuff at department stores like Kohls:

I think this one is cute. But really depends on your personal style.

Costco! Because they take ANYTHING back! Pretty much, years later, without a receipt.

Not sure which suits you were looking at from VS, but I got suits for $23 and $30 from there.. wait till they have them on sale I guess. But other places I have been to are like $60+ and don’t fit as well. I found a good swimsuit by Roxy at Macys a couple years ago as well, I don’t remember the price but I think it was around $30 as well.

I think the only ones I have are from VS. I get them online when they have sales and sometimes they are pretty cheap.

Target usually has cute swim suits.  My favorite one I bought several years ago there, its green with white polka dots.  January is the best time to buy anything though.  Spring/Summer items are on sale.  Winter stuff is on sale.  Plus its after the holidays so all that stuff is on sale too.  I bet a lot of sales continue through February.

The thing I hate about VS is the charge for shipping, then if it doesn’t fit, you pay to ship it back, and pay for a new one! Even if you return it in the store, they deduct the price of shipping from your return, because they don’t keep it and ship it back!

But, I feel that their suits are very high quality and at $20-$30 a piece, that’s not bad. I have had one swimsuit for 6 years now, and a second one for 5. I was hoping to buy some new ones this year but I really didn’t like any of their styles this season :/
