I had planned to buy artificial flowers from efavormart.com but I saw a lot of posts saying to not buy from them.
Where else can I buy cheap flowers online? Also, if you bought flowers from them, how are they?
I’m not crazy picky about quality, but I don’t want to not receive my order or have them be the wrong color.
Our total budget for our wedding is only $2,000 and trying to keep decor under $300 total.

I did all my own flowers on the cheap. I got the ‘important’ flowers from Walmart and the ‘filler’ flowers from the Dollar Store. Sure, they weren’t as nice as ‘proper fake flowers’, but nobody noticed.

You can get great deals in-store at craft stores like Michaels, Hobby Lobby if there’s one near you, A.C. Moore, Joann’s. They have crazy great deals – I bought all of my flowers between 60-80% off. I’ve saved a huge chunk of change 🙂 They also do weekly discounts that you can get emails for. I suggest every bride getting on that! A bride friend of mine said she had flowers from Hobby Lobby at her wedding and people brought them home to be put in water – thinking they were real! Some do look very real and they have sales all of the time. Right now they’re 50% off all floral.
Besides the craft stores, I do second the dollar store/Walmart. Actually I bought some white roses from Walmart and painted the edges to match my look. I saw that in a DIY book and its really pretty/simple/inexpensive.
Michaels also has awesome beverage dispensers I bought for $10 each, etc. If you keep your eye out you’ll find a lot of great deals.
Online sites I’d suggest afloral.com because I’ve seen a lot of great reviews and they do have awesome bulk buys. Another great site in general is Linentablecloths.com – I have bought all my linen (for 15 tables) on there for literally 1/5 of anywhere else. They also have floral though I don’t know much about it.
Hope this rant was at all helpful! Good luck!

emmmmru: Very helpful! Thank you! I plan to get my tableclothes from the site you mentioned, because it’s even cheaper than renting from the places in my area. I’m going to sign up for weekly emails from those places right now.

mrsv2016: that’s great, make sure to check out their cloth napkins if you are using them. We bought packs of 12 for $4 each! The price is so great and they came in just perfect! They might still be doing free shipping right now too 😊
Btw another great site is Zazzle.com for custom paper goods – this week they’re doing everything from 20-60% off and one bonus category will be 75% off daily. Awesome deals from magnets, cards, invitations, pillows, etc. For $10 you can get a year of free shipping. Sorry, just sharing some great knowledge!

Afloral.com is a good site to look at. Gives you some ideas too.

mrsv2016: Where’s your wedding and when? You can try using Bloomerent.com which allows you go to through a florist and get great quality but without the prices (because you share them with another wedding or event the day before or after yours, so you just can’t keep them if someone else opts in)

mrsv2016: Oh, sorry! I didn’t notice you said your budget was $200 for flowers, but I would definitely try DIY then. They will look beautiful no matter what you do- Good luck and congrats!!

I know you asked about artificial, but I did my own wedding flowers and we ordered through etsy and purchased dried/preserved real flowers. The colors weren’t as vibrant, but it fit perfectly with our country wedding. I spent about $300 for 12 tables worth of flowers for centerpieces, and a large bouquet for myself, and 3 small bouquets for the girls and an extra bouquet i pulled apart to make the boutonierres. 🙂
