@chelseahurtado89:  What’s cheap to you? I got mine at David’s Bridal for $49.

@chelseahurtado89: i bought a hoop skirt on ebay per other bee’s suggestions, and I am so happy i did. I highly recommend a hoop skirt vs a crinolin, they are so much lighter and hold a better shape IMO. I bought a flexible 4 boned hoop skirt from angelsbridal and paid around $25 shipped. They shipped it really quick and it made it from california to michigan in only a few days. They also sell crinoline but i can’t comment on those because i didn’t get one!

I got mine for free. My best friend got married a few years ago and it’s been sitting in her closet. Granted she is two sizes smaller then me but she gave it to my Future Mother-In-Law and she is going to make it fit me with some alterations. If you know anyone who has gotten married and still has theirs, see if you can have it or borrow it. Also, I believe you can rent them so you don’t have to buy. And you can always look online at ebay and amazon to see if one is in your budget. Good luck

Check out square dancing supply stores too.    Several companies which specialize in square dancing petticoats also make wedding petticoats too.
