MrsGirlyGirl :  I’m getting pretty much all new furniture as I’m in the process of moving to a bigger place.

A couple of sites I’ve been finding stuff on are:

https://www.polyandbark.com/

http://www.allmodern.com

I have ordered from All Modern, but not Poly and Bark although I’m going to be purchasing a couch this weekend. They have free shipping and free returns which is awesome for furniture. The stuff I ordered from All Modern was high quality and came without any dings/scratches/etc

luluandgeorgia.com has some really nice looking stuff too!

I really like Joss and Main, and Wayfair.  They always have really stylish things and they’re very reasonably priced.

When my husband and I bought our house, we actually bought our dining set from craigslist for $300.  It was in almost brand new condition, included table, leaf and 6 chairs, but most importantly is a substantial solid wood.  We too were factoring in constant use, and abuse from (future, god willing) children.  Alot of the more reasonable pieces we looked at were not even real wood (composite etc), and upwards of $1000 (some not including chairs).  We got lucky that that we found a “newer” used piece that matched our decor.  Obviously inventory on preloved furniture is not guaranteed, but it doesnt hurt to scope out your local craigslist for a high quality solid piece that can be refinished if need be, or even down the road when your own use starts to show.

We bought quite a few things from Ashley Furniture.  They also have stores so we were able to see some of the items first.

All Modern, Wayfair, Joss & Main and Birch Lane are all the same company and you can often times find some of their products on other websites like Amazon and even Walmart. It pays to price shop if you’ve found an item you love. FWIW, I’ve ordered quite a few pieces of furniture from Wayfair/J&M/etc and it’s not the *best* quality but for the price and trendy styles, you can’t beat it. Some items are definitely better quality than others, I’ve found it to be pretty hit or miss. We’ve also purchased furniture from Costco and that holds up better but I find their styles to be a bit outdated.

ETA I ordered dining room chairs through J&M that were actually from Ashley Furniture 🤷🏼‍♀️

I recommend you make own search on Google, I am pretty sure you’ll find something. Don’t forget to pay attention to reviews. The best option to ask your friends/mates who have already cooperated with a good store. Also, I can recommend you a good blog about furniture and its care, the author of this blog is our furniture manufacturer. Check it out https://furnishingsmaster.com/

We’ve bought a few things from Costco online and have been really satisfied with the quality.

Wayfair has been hit or miss for me.  I don’t buy expensive pieces from there so I probably am getting what I paid for.  But I’ve been disappointed a couple of times so it will probably be a while before I try that site again.
