Have you checked out Craigslist?  We found a lot of nice stuff there.

Big Lots!  We got a sectional sofa (the “couch” has 3 cushions and one arm, then the “chaise” i guess has one regular cushion and one special sized cushion for the lay-down part.) for $599 i think.  It’s fabric. It’s nice.  We love it.  It’s not the most beautiful of sofas, the brown color is kinda meh, but it’s SOOOO comfy and wonderful!!

Edit: this is the one we have http://www.biglots.com/Furniture/item.aspx?cid=14&scid=47&iid=8070

I like american furniture warehouse for cheap stuff but I think it is located in Maine. They might ship!

I love AFW too but they are only located in CO!  I don’t think they deliver beyond neighboring states and shipping would probably be ridiculous!

CRAIGSLIST.

It took a looooot of me trolling three regions’ worth of craigslist (Philly, NYC, Central PA) to find great deals, but we are students and had no furnishings and now have BEAUTIFUL, QUALITY furniture for every room of our one bedroom apartment, and we did it all for $1700.

Craigslist, CB2, Overstock.com (you can’t beat the shipping) and of course Ikea!
