In researching Jewish wedding traditions, I read somewhere of having both the bride and groom step on the glass in the interest of equality.
I thought it would be cool to step on glasses in our wedding colors (burgundy and teal) and then have it put into a mezuzah. Now I guess I just need to figure out, where do I find the colored glasses to step on?
Thanks!

I’ve heard of people using a lightbulb in a little cloth bag. Apparently it’s easier to smash them when you step on them and they make a really good noise. You could always get bags in your wedding colours.

We bought ours from a website called Mezuzah Master for about $30. A local store sold them for $50! No thanks. I was able to find an online coupon code for free shipping. I found the website through doing a google shopping search so that’s an option. keep in mind this was $30 for the class and the bag it goes into to be broken. This doesn’t include the price for making it into anything (mezuzah, pic frame, etc.) which can get pretty pricey.
