Based on previous years, Banana Republic should have some khaki or beige suits soon.  We just got grey ones there last week for our wedding in March.  It was really easy to get the groomsmen the style numbers and send them into the store near them.  Having worked in a department store, I’d be REALLY nervous about trying to coordinate something like that at a department store.

Sure $99.00 suits.. They wholesale for $35. What are you buying for $99 dollars…lol. The stores that sell such garbage are making a profit and believe me its not $20. It’s called a throw away suit..dry clean and it puckers up from all the fabric glue used in china to mass produce these items. I’m in the business and these suits come in with 2 labels..1 from the real origin the next says Italy…stores remove the cheaper label. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR..

i would suggest looking Jos A Bank – i personally like their tuxes better than mens wearhouse, they tend to fit better. I don’t know if they chang their colors up depending on the season but they have a nice taupe color that is kind of close to khaki – but a little more gray. Plus they are located all around the US so it makes it easier if you have groomsmen out of town. doesnt hurt to check it out

Any Tuxedo store carry’s The same and better selection. Jos a bank, Mw..No big deal…selections are better and service is better with a professional Formal wear store. Thats why they exist. Suits and Tuxedos. Google complaints on mw tuxedos and there are 100’s

J.crew always has a great selection of suits online. Right now they have a great sale on their chino (khaki colored) suit jacket for $119 (originally $248) and the matching chino pants for $69.99. The cuts on the pants and jackets are always great and tailored. Check ’em out, if you’d like. Head over to jcrew.com and go to SALE and then MENS. You should be able to find them on the 4th or 5th page. Good luck!

@mrsbruff2b:  Vested opinion..LOL..facts are posted on web sites (complaints). Linen suits are NOT $99.00 Good linen suits are a few $100’s. They also wrinkle and look like someone slept in them.I don’t know what you do in canada, Whould the Ladies here were sun dresses on their wedding day. Don’t think so..Mens wear House is a warehouse plain and simple. All you have to do is google complaints …..FACT. I only state known facts. I am not here to promote my business, I will tell you this ..I have Tan,Charcoal , Black, Navy, And Khaki suits for rent in all sizes boys to men, Shirt (styles, colors your choice), !00’s of different color ties and prints. for $89 complete. Plus over 30 years experience in the Wedding buisness. I didn’t start last week. [comment moderated for namecalling/snark/baiting/personal attacks]

I totally second what mrsbruff2b said about studiosuits.com.  For my wedding we ordered my DH’s suit and groomsman suit from there and absolutely loved it!!!  Great quality AND great price!  we got the beige linen, and there were a bunch of similar shades to choose from.

@Richg8:  i believe mrsbruff2b was referring to “the ladies here” at bestdestionwedding.com as she posted the link to the thread in her reply.  She was not claiming to be a Canadian spokesperson, lol.  The discussion on BDW goes on for pages about studiosuits.com.  I read through that entire thread and it ultimately is what convinced me to order from there.  There was mostly fantastic reviews, with a couple here and there who were not completley impressed, but the majority were definitely in favor. I also was suspicious about the price being so cheap, but after all the great reviews, i took a chance and was happy i did! This has nothing to do with buying suits from Canada versus US……

We rented ours from Jim’s Tuxedo Rental… they had the exact color khaki we were looking for! There are tons of retailers that carry Jim’s Formalwear around the country… Good luck!

@Richg8:  Fact?  Obviously if you are googling “complaints” the search results will yield “complaints”. LOL

I really don’t appreciate the underhanded comments about “Canadians” since our conversation has nothing to do with it, so that has been flagged.  Completely unnecessary and rather elementary (much like the arrogant tone of your post). Again, you are stating your credentials to no one and personally, I’ll take reviews and the words of customers’ experience over word of someone in the biz anyday.

@Richg8:  I sure hope your attitude here is not reflected in your professionalism at work, though that could expain a lot.

Back on topic:  I also remember that Le Chateau (Canada) had quite a few khaki suits on sale (quality and price okay from what I hear).
