So my fiance and I have FINALLY agreed to elope! What a relief! We live in Edmonton Alberta and want to elope in BC. Can anyone recommend a resort, bed and breakfast, inn, fishing lodge whatever, that offers elopement packages? We have found one really fantastic one that we are considering on the Sunshine Coast but I want to look around and be really sure before I commit.
Thanks for any input!

(I would have LOVED to have our ceremony here but Fiance wasn’t intersted, ugh!)

If you wanted something more in the interior of BC you could look at Blaylock’s Mansion in Nelson, BC. It is beautiful there.

Thank you for all the great suggestions!

I love that you are going to elope to BC! I am from Prince George, so Fiance and I are off to Kelowna on Jul 9th to elope there. We didnt find an “elopement package”, but we kind of put one together on our own
Venue: (She can make your boquet/boutinnierre for you also)
Bed and breakfast (which is 5 minutes away from the garden)
Marriage Officiant: (she will travel anywhere in the okanagan)
I really liked the looks of all of the Sunshine Coast ones when we were looking, but it was just a little too far for us to drive and we didnt want to be away from home for too long. I always dreamed of getting married in Kelowna, I cant wait! 12 more days! 🙂

I just eloped in Nelson 4 days ago and it was beautiful! The town is lovely, the people are wonderful. We had a fantastic officiant and photographers. We were married on a mountainside overlooking the town. IF you’re interested in Nelson, I can definitely get you in touch with the connections I set up to make it happen.

@hmack: Congratulations HMack! You day sounds beautiful and lovely!
What made you pick Nelson? We’re eloping near Field, BC in 2 weeks! We may be driving through Nelson on our way back to Utah. Any suggestion on where to say, not miss?

@hmack: We spent the last night of our 11 day road trip in Nelson! We ran into a couple while hiking to the Bugaboos who lived near Nelson. They were raving about all the great restaurants. Sadly we arrived fairly late on a Sunday and only the Hume was open. I think I got sick there.
But anyway, Nelson is super cute! We got married outside of Field, BC at Emerald Lake!
