library remnants, or yard sales. A lot of time people are selling old books for very little, and they don’t have to be pretty or good. Also goodwill–the one near me has paperbacks something like 3/$5. Just find really thick ones. πŸ™‚

Our local libraries have stores and they sell very cheap hardback books. A lot of them are super old, which makes them perfect for vintage-y decor (I bought a lot for my centerpieces!). Their regular price goes from 25cents-$1 each, but I happened upon a sale once and each book was only 10 cents. I also got a couple old encyclopedia sets for about $5-10, which is a great price for 20++ books! πŸ™‚

Craigslist. Or maybe ask used book stores if they have stuff that isn’t selling that they would discard. Even if they don’t they probably have some books for really cheap. I got several 800 page paperbacks for $1 each.
