By comfortable, do you mean low heel?

If you don’t have much time and comfort is a priority, is there a pair of plain shoes that you already have that you can wear?  Nobody ever notices shoes unless you want to make a big deal of them anyways.

I got my shoes at Payless and they were comfortable.  I also ordered some dyeable shoes on Shoebuy.com and they seemed comfortable.  But when I saw the payless shoes where the shoes cost less than dyeing the other shoes, I returned the shoebuy shoes (even if they were lower and probably even more comfortable than my payless shoes).

Is it insane to wear Tevas or flip flops under my wedding dress? I’ve seriously considered this…

I agree that the Cole Haan shoes are pretty comfortable.  My #1 most comfortable pair of heels, though, is the pair I wore for my wedding–Stuart Weitzman.  I honestly believe that in many (not all) cases, the more you pay, the more comfortable they will be.  My #2 pair of shoes are Kenneth Cole shoes (not the “reaction” brand, the real deal–though I got mine on sale for about $50!).  My Cole Haans are my #3 most comfy heels and they are my highest heels at about 4.5″ (the Stuart Weitzmans are something like 4.25).

There are lots of pretty comfortable options, though, and Nordstrom is a great store to try on in and see what feels good.  Then order online for cheaper 🙂

I ordered a pair of toms wedges. They’re so adorable and super comfy!

@bridestobee:  I just bought some flip flops at old navy ($1 day sandals) and went to the dollar store, bought cellphone stickers (came in two strips) and super glued them to the sandal and I love the way they turned out! Every wedding I go to all I hear is “My feet hurt” with many people in heals so since I’m not really a heel person to begin with, flip flops it is!!

Order from Zappos. Free two-day shipping, free returns, 365 day return policy. You can order a bunch and return the ones you don’t end up using. That’s what my fiance did–we ordered seven pairs of men’s dress shoes at once and returned six.
