Hi! I’m new to weddingbee and I also live in MA! Since I’m newly engaged I have only just begun to think about bridesmaids dresses (color, style, etc) but I know my maids will be on a budget too. I don’t know if you would consider having them buy dresses online but I’ve been looking around and I am considering looking at laceaffair.com for dresses. They have really great prices and a kind of vintagey feel to a lot of the dresses. I’ve ordered regular dresses from them before and thought the shipping and customer service was great. Though they don’t have a store the company is based in MA so shipping to me was super fast! I hope this is helpful! If I see any other good bridal options around Boston I will be sure to come back and let you know.

There’s a place in Fall River called Party Dress Express but I’m not sure how far away it is from you.  Check out their website just google Party dress express.  Hope that helps..

Oh I am excited that @LadyCupcake:  suggested Precious Memories. I was going to suggest them. They just opened a new huge showroom in Malden. You might want to call first since I’m not sure it has opened (but I think it has).

@javoho:  I second Party Dress Express! I got my wedding dress there and all of my bridesmaids got their dresses there too. They wore Alfred Angelo and they carry almost every bridal and bridal party designer I can think of. Also, they give you a choice of either a discount off the dress or included alterations at their store. They are amazing, so helpful and have an incredible selection. I’ve recommended it to two brides already that have since bought their dresses there and have taken their bridal party there! I know Fall River is quite a ways from Melrose but it’s worth it!

I ended up going to Alfred Angelo in Dedham. I ordered my dress there, so my BMs get $20 off bring their dresses down to $135. I did check out Party Dress Express too, that place is huge! I can’t remember the terms exactly, but Party Dress Express does offer a discount if you purchase a bunch of Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses (I wanna say it was 30% off 6 or more?)…the catch is you have to order them all at once. Hope this helps!
