Search for “Derby Hats” or “Women’s Derby Hats” – you can even find them on ebay.

You can also get big hats, floppy brimmed or not, at Sears, Target, Kohls etc right now and add your own tulle, ribbon , flowers etc very inexpensively.

I went to a tea party bridal shower where we are all asked to wear a hat and I raided my great grandmothers closet! (I understand not all of us are lucky enough to still have great grand mothers, but in that case antique stores!)

The Burlington Coat Factory near me has a ton of hats. Weird I know. There is a big Baptist community near by, and a lot of the ladies wear hats to church. Marshalls or TJ Maxx might have them too

@FutureMrsChaney: I take it for granted that we have them in all our stores (Derby is Saturday) but even DSW or Off Broadway Shoes has been known to have them (don’t know if there are either of those near you).

what about thrift stores – the boutique kind (not goodwill).

ebay should be a great find right now since the derby just ended. Too bad you aren’t from KY they have them everywhere…even walmart right now!
