Soooo, it wasn’t until a couple months ago that I decided to finally go get sized for a bra. Needless to say…I was wearing 3 cup sizes too small, yep, no good lol! Soooo my question for all you full figured bees…any idea on where to find a strapless bra in a size 38G??? Stores like Cacique don’t even go that large in strapless. I have only found DDD as the biggest strapless which is really bumming me out. Any suggestions will be more than appreciated! Thanks ahead of time ladie 😀

First would be where do you live…
You might be able to track down a pro fitting store near you.
Far as I know there’s only 1 place that you can find that in store and it’s the Petticoat Fair in Austin, TX. <— don’t know where that is for you.
It’s hard to order a bra without first trying it on b/c from what the owner said, they all fit different =(
Maybe if you get back to the store you got fitted in they’d have some?… then once you have the brand and style you can call and order from the Petticoat Fair?
Just throwing some ideas around….

im 34dd, and i just got the wonder bra, its amazing!!
its like they have hands on the inside to hold you up? they have a very think strap in the back so your sure everything stays in place, although i find it uncomfortable if i wear it for too long, it kind of nips the skin, maybe im wearing the wrong size:P
im from ireland so im not sure what ranges they do over there, or how big a cup the wonderbra range do, but i have to say, i love it.
i think figleaves do bigger cup sizes so they might be worth a look:)

I am sized as a 42g, but I found in the strapless bras that they fit VERY differently then regular bras. I was able to get my strapless bra at David’s Bridal. Also there is a website that I’ve found and heard good things of: http://www.hipsandcurves.com/plus-size-lingerie/default.aspx

Thanks ladies! Appreciate the suggestions. I originally got sized at Cacique. I’m in Northern Kentucky…close to Cincinnati, OH…so we may have a specialty shop I can look into.

I am also a G cup and have rarely found anything above an E in “regular” shops (think Victoria Secret). Sure, specialty lingere shops have great products, but you’ll pay a price.
Try http://www.freshpair.com They have AMAZING prices, and great return policy.
or Figleaves.com (makesure you redirect to the us site)
You can always email freshpair customer service to find the right size for you based on fit in other brands. Sometimes I’ll go into a lingerie shop to try on a brand, but purchase from Freshpair (I’m sure they love that)
Also, just a suggestion, but I wouldn’t get a strapless bra -I would go long line. I had originally purchased a strapless, but I found it gave me Mega back fat (and I’m pretty tiny so I wouldn’t have thought this would happen). Strapless are designed to be really tight around the ribcage to give them lift and support (and apparently back boobs). I also found I was CONSTANTLY pulling it up. I decided on a long line bra and its SO comfortable.
This is the one I ended up with.

Try http://www.bravissimo.com – I’m a 36F and I’ve had good luck with bras, bathing suits, and clothes from there.

Hey! When I tried on wedding dresses the bridal shop provided me with an EXCELLENT strapless bra..I am a 40DDD and they carry large sizes. The brand name of the bra was called Goddess lace bridal bustier bra. They carry large sizes and I believe biggergirlbras.com carries it. It held me up SO nicely and was actually quite comfortable. I plan on purchasing one for my own wedding. Good luck!

@LuLu3279: Another vote for the Goddess bra!
I’m a DDD/E cup (vast tracks of land…) and I am very pleased with how this bra shapes the girls! Instead of the dreaded pointy “torpedo” look, it gives you a very natural rounded shape. Not to mention the long line really sucks you in!
I ordered mine from Amazon.com for about $50.00
