Another vote for asos, i ended up with 2 dresses and now I can’t decide which one to wear. I’m keeping both since I only spent about $300 (Australian Dollars) total for both of them.
Modcloth had some good ones too, and I was looking at adrianna papell, she has some gorgeous dresses for about $200- $500.

In a similar boat – I am trying KOH KOH brand dresses. I found them on a few websites but ordered from Amazon so they’re Prime eligible so I can super easily return whatever I don’t keep. Simple, flowy, easy to add a belt or other embellishments to if I want to customize. I ordered 4 different dresses, all were under $50 and look like they’ll be perfect for our casual park wedding. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00D77YE9G/ref=twister_B00UCU3D4I

When I had tried on dresses at David’s Bridal I tried on some beachy styles that were pretty affordable. Under $200. I’d definitely check them out.
