I have a local print shop that sells pro cameras & equipment & they do in-house printing, but I would feel super awkward to give them very revealing photos of myself & then picking them up ! Or any suggestions there? I could email them ahead of time & ask for a lady?
Any photographers know of a reputable online place? It just feels dangerous emailing high res files of this type to snapfish/walmart/etc (not that I’ve heard anything bad!) just IDK I want a professional website.
Any ideas? I’m likely going to do a photobook but I might do a framed 8×10 (will hang in DH’s closet behind all his clothes, its not going on display!).

I’ve used mpix.com to print my wedding photos and have been extremely happy with them. Very professional.

I had a fabulous experience with Adoramapix.com, couldn’t be happier. They are pricier than other places, but the reviews I read convinced me that they are the highest quality. I got 30% off my book on a Black Friday sale and am really thrilled with out it turned out! I plan to use them for our wedding album, too.

mix.com all the way. They are the consumer side of a pro lab that a lot of photographers use.

Adorama! They use much higher quality paper, and their colors tend to be truer to life than most other places. I had them mailed to me so I didn’t have to have the awkward “flip through the photos with an orthodox man standing over my shoulder” moment 🙂
I also got my mounted to black matboard. It was pricey, for sure, but that’s what I wanted and they turned out soooooo amazing.

Why is emailing high resolution photos to Snapfish or Walmart any more or less dangerous than emailing them to another print lab? MPIX will at least give you a better looking print, but a human being with real eyeballs will be looking at your photos at some point in time.
