I’m looking for confetti for my guests to throw after the ceremony, about 300 people. I’m also planning to make or buy paper cones to put the confetti in. Anyone know where I can get the confetti or cones for cheap?

Well cones are really easy to DIY, but I’ve seen them on Etsy (much cheaper to DIY though). As for the confetti, maybe check ebay or oriental trading company (depending on what kind of confettie you want). I would double check with your venue on their confetti policy though, many places will not allow it.

you could hole punch lots of paper pretty cheaply or did you check oriental trading?

Does your venue actually let you do that? I’d imagine it would be hard to clean-up, get into guest’s clothes and hair, etc. The only thing I’ve heard that people are able to throw is birdseed.

If you have a paper shredder you could feed colored paper through it and use that. You’d probably want to use a cross-cut shredder.

Thanks everyone! I found some on save-on-crafts that I think will be perfect! Yes, it’s our church and we can throw whatever we want, we were going to do spinkles but figured confetti was easier and the one I found happened to be biodegradable. I think I’m going to attempt some DIY cones and see how it goes!
