Since Fiance and I live together, I will be spending the night before our wedding in our wedding-night suite by myself and we are doing pics there.

Since our house is super small, Fiance asked a friend if they could get ready at his place, since its bigger and much “nicer”.

Or perhaps you could get ready at home?  The picture in the center left made me wish I still lived at home and could do a sweet little “still living at home, but in my wedding dress” picture, you know?  (sorry if that pic is big!!)

Hope This Helps.

Do you have any Out of Town bridesmaids that need a hotel room? Or even bridesmaids locally that can offer up their space? Are your parents local? Would it break the bank to book a hotel room for 2 nights? Are you spending the night before away from your FI? If so, where? Can that space be used to get ready the day of?

My bridesmaids and I are staying the night before my wedding at a nearby resort, and getting ready there in the morning 🙂

I know this might not be for everyone due to different budgets, but I am looking forward to a night with the girls and having the ‘getting ready’ photos in a beautiful hotel room!

I don’t think I would want to travel more than half an hour (timewise…meaning, I would take traffic into account).  And then of course you would want to schedule in extra time in case of mishaps (hair taking longer, crazy traffic, etc.).  Then again, I live in a smaller city so we don’t have the crazy traffic jams and such that other places do, so this isn’t such a worry for me.

I’m thinking of getting a room at the venue and having some of the gals that would like to spend the night having one last slumber party. Then we’d get ready there in the AM, have our stuff moved to our respective ‘new’ rooms for the actual night of the wedding, and we’ll get all of those photos of getting dressed and dolled up in a gorgeous room.

Is there any room at the church where you could have someone bring in a couple mirrors?  Just those full-length ones that are easily portable?  Are you doing your own hair/makeup, etc?

I got ready in the basement of the chapel and other than seeing what my makeup looked like after my MUA was done – I never used the full-length after putting my dress on to see the completed look.  I don’t recommend that AT.ALL – but I think I was so excited after putting on my dress – we started taking pictures immediately and it dawned on me that I never ‘saw’ what I looked like.  Then it was time for the ceremony to start and it never happened! LOL
