The wedding’s over and I’m still deciding what to do with my dress (sell, donate, keep, etc.).
How long can I wait until after the wedding to get the dress cleaned? If I’m not going to have my dress mummified and preserved, where is a good cleaner in the San Francisco area to clean the dress so it could be sold or donated?

I took mine to Gessinee’s in Concord. There customer service can be a bit lacking/annoying, but they will clean your dress even if you didn’t buy yours there. They did a FABULOUS job on mine (needed it cleaned for a second reception 2 months after the wedding).
Now I’m on the fence about getting it cleaned a second time. Kinda want to preserve it, but don’t know if it’s worth it. So it’s just hanging in my closet.

After my bad experience with Wed Clean, I took my dress to National Gown Cleaners in Campbell http://www.yelp.com/biz/national-gown-cleaners-campbell
